ft Genesis plant provides specialty corrugated packaging and displays.
Founded in 1999 and acquired by RR Donnelley in 2011 it is located southwest of Chicago in Lemont Illinois.
Genesis is a sheet-fed plant with some of the finest print capabilities in the corrugated industry.
The Genesis plant specializes in on-site creative and structural design, flexo pre-print, direct print, litho label mounting and die-cutting.

Description:
Perform visual inspection of printed materials for defects, such as loose, torn, or wrinkled pages, missing staples, incorrect bindings, incorrect book cases, and warped laminate paperback covers.
Perform samples selection, taking random samples of publications from machine or table and examine the product for a variety of possible defects such as ragged edges, torn or wrinkled pages, incomplete cuts, incorrect bindings, smeared or blotched colors, dirt on the product, and any other visual defect that is out of specification.
Follow inspection checklist and record any identified defects.
Ensure that the products meet quality conformance specified by the customer.
Prepare written reports and provide notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.
Required SkillsRequired skills:
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
Able to perform arithmetic, algebraic, and geometric procedures in standard practical applications.
Able to read and interpret work instructions.
Read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools and equipment and methods and procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.
Able to communicate effectively in writing using proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech.
Ability to stand and walk the production floor throughout the shift.
Job requires the ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Required ExperienceThe pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.
05- $24.
50 / hour.
The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to:
education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location.
In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
