Record all test results in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure customers receive COA's for orders.
Collects and tests incoming and outgoing raw material and product samples in a timely manner to promote efficient production operations.
Responsible for coordinating with Operations and customers to resolve food safety and/or quality problems and to ensure compliance with FDA, SQF and other relevant authorities and standards.
Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to Operations leadership on site.
Maintains knowledge of customer specifications and requirements and communicates this information to other employees.
Responsible for product labelling compliance and for keeping product specifications current.
Ensures that all products shipped meet required customer specifications or and other requirements.
Insures that incoming raw materials, chemicals, and processing aids are evaluated and meet food safety requirements.
Have an understanding of the SQF Food Safety Code and of the facility HACCP plan.
Must be on call for emergencies and available to handle any situation that arises concerning the plant or company assets.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrated skill in judgement and sound decision making required.
Performs other duties as directed by the Quality and/or Operations leadership.

Associate Degree in a Science discipline 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.
