Materials Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory has an opening position of postdoctoral appointee\. The research project aims at development of solid state semiconductors for high performance nuclear radiation detectors\. Experimental work involves synthesis, purification, and crystal growth of a wide range of bulk materials followed by structural, optical, and electrical characterizations of the grown crystals\.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
+ Ph\.D\. in chemistry, materials science, physics, or equivalent\.
+ Primary major in synthesis, large scale crystal growth, and characterization for solid state bulk materials \(chalcogenides and/or halides\) applicable for high energy radiation detectors\.
+ Experience with large scale crystal growth using Bridgman method
+ Experience with characterization of radiation detector materials \(scintillators or semiconductors\) for resistivity, photoluminescence, photo response \(X\-ray, laser, gamma\-ray\), Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy, etc\. as well as basic physical property measurements\.
+ Good written and oral communication skills\.
+ The following majors are NOT considered in this position:nano\-science, thin film, and organic or bio\-related\.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
